Class Overview

In Learn to Quilt I, we’ll guide you through every step of the quilting process as we create the beautiful Looking Glass quilt by Cheryl Brickey. Designed especially for beginners, this class will give you the confidence to turn fabric into a finished quilt—one step at a time.

We’ll begin with the fundamentals, learning how to accurately cut fabric and piece your quilt blocks. From there, you’ll discover how those individual blocks come together to form rows, and how those rows become a completed quilt top. Before quilting your project, you’ll practice machine quilting on a placemat-sized sample so you can build confidence with your quilting stitches. We’ll finish the class by learning how to machine apply binding, giving you the skills to complete your quilt with a beautiful, polished finish.

Every class is taught step by step in a relaxed, encouraging environment with plenty of time for questions and individual guidance. Whether you’ve never touched a rotary cutter or you’ve always wanted to make your first quilt, this class will give you the foundation you need to continue your quilting journey. own!
